Am I Dreaming??

How would I know if this were a dream??
I followed the advice of many a dreamer - check the light switches, jump and see how long it takes to land, look at writing and see if it squirms...

I spent a night switching on a light bulb that didn't work while floating 2 feet off the ground and left myself a note in what looked like sanscrit without once finding this strange, just frustrating...It seems the trick is to remember you are trying to notice if you are dreaming rather than how to tell!!
